Hello All,

As you are aware, Dr. Samir Sinha was appointed in May 2012 by the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care to lead the development of a Seniors Strategy for Ontario. Dr. Sinha was tasked to develop a report and recommendations by consulting broadly with service providers, older Ontarians and their families, LHINs, municipal leaders, associations, consumer groups, and other stakeholders. The thoughtful guidance and expertise shared by all stakeholders who participated in the consultation process helped to shape and influence Dr. Sinha's final report Living Longer, Living Well.

I would like to thank Dr. Sinha for his leadership, contributions, and dedication in bringing thousands of Ontarians together to help develop a very comprehensive report which sets the foundation for a Seniors Strategy for Ontario.
